Dr. Anna Hetzer O.D. grew up outside of Waunakee, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and graduated with a biology major and French minor. During college, Dr. Hetzer worked at an eye clinic as an optician and was able to go on an eye mission in Peru where she fell in love with patient care. While at UW-La crosse she very much enjoyed visiting her roommate from Oconomowoc, where she fell in love with the town! After college, Anna followed in Dr. Marsh’s footsteps and attended Pacific School of Optometry in Oregon where she met her fiance, Joel. Go Boxers!
Dr. Hetzer enjoys the outdoors and anything that goes with it! As long as it doesn’t involve extreme heights or cold. When not looking at patients eyes, you can find Anna cooking new recipes, biking, running, playing volleyball, hiking, boating, petting other people’s dogs, mushroom hunting, traveling (or at least dreaming of it!), cross country skiing and speaking amateur french while drinking wine and eating cheese.
Dr. Hetzer loves getting to know her patients and making them see clearly and comfortably! She has worked with patients of all ages in almost every corner of the country, including an Air Force Base in South Carolina, private practice in Illinois, a VA in Pennsylvania, and a LASIK center in Colorado. Her true passion is in finding a contact lens that is right for you!
